Adding The Final Touches

This is it, the end of editing. I now had all the clips and scenes from our commercial, now it was just up to  me to perfect the commercial! Firstly, no one could decide on the music used in the video so i ended up using Let Me Love You by Justin Bieber. This was a chill song, with a nice beat to it, and allowed for the noise cancellation on and off effect we wanted. I recorded the original song, and added some modifications to it which made it seem as if the song was playing from another room. This give off the effect that the song was lower, and added to our idea of noise cancellation being off. Once Aaron turned noise cancellation on, I edited the music back to original state, syncing it with the tap of his finger in the video. This looked smooth in the end product as well. One problem I came across was, time. Time, was probably my worst enemy, and it caused some issues while fitting all the clips in. Some clips were sped up a little more then anticipated and some slowed down, as they were recorded to quick. Consequently, our logo was on screen for a very short period, due to, the time allotment. After exporting the video, I was faced with yet another problem:a watermark. Although annoying, the watermark was quickly taken care off as I paid a small fee of 4$ to get rid of it. Ariel questioned why I paid just for a school project, but it was okay, as I use this app frequently, and I would be using it sooner or later. I edited the commercial to an exact 30 seconds. I added a Gaussian Blur effect in one of the scenes which lets the viewer focus more on the phone screen then the surrounding. I exported the final product in 4k 60 FPS, for best quality product.
