AICE Media Studies

 Below is my CCR Video :

  This was my second project in AICE Media Studies and I absolutely loved filming and producing this project. I know its a bit "cringe" but that's expected of a song commercial, produced by a couple high-schoolers with no prior knowledge on video, and filming; and I think on that note we did a pretty neat job of putting together something special. My editing was good, and a lot of my friends liked the production. I look forward to starting the movie project, and have many ideas. My group did a great job!

 Today I finished editing my video and produced the final product. The whole process took me about and hour, close to an hour and a half. Honestly, editing comes really easy to me, and its like my creative mind is always on 4 cylinders. Once we filmed on Tuesday, I came home with about 10 more clips, to add to my original amount. Since we had about 45-50 seconds on hand, there would not be much more editing for me to do. One idea we had in mind was to have Juan and Keith do a flip. The flip would transition between each other, and both landings would show in the span of 6-7 seconds. This was sort of difficult as I had to cut in between both clips, and keep adding it back to readjust and make sure the exact frame matched up to make it look at smooth as possible. Once I added these couple of seconds, I moved on to the next clip. The next clip was me and Fahim embracing one another, then slowly falling apart. This clip was quite easy to edit, all I had to do was cut out the part before Ke

 Before we even started the project we decided that I would be editing, as I had prior experience to editing and would be the most up to the task. The day we first filmed, after we came home I hopped on call with my team members and I live-streamed to a discord call as I started editing the video. My friends were telling me certain things that would look cool and edits just to make the whole music video better as a whole. One problem we had was the clips that were taken on Keith's phone. Keith has a Samsung phone and we all have iPhones. When Keith tried sending us the clips the quality of the videos came out horrible and very pixelated. The way we combated this problem was uploading the videos to the cloud. We took all the videos and uploaded them to an app called MEGA, which was a file storage app, and that way I was able to take the clips from there and download them to my own. The first couple edits were pretty easy, and all I had to do was sync the music together. Some of the

 On Tuesday, December 8th, 2021, we filmed the last of our scenes, in continuation of our previous scenes captured on Sunday, December 5th. On Tuesday, normally we all have environmental club and decided that we would car-pool to Juan's house together. After school we found out that environmental club had been canceled and this was immediately a problem as now the parent that was supposed to pick us up would not have been there for an hour. We decided that instead of car-pooling we would have to go home for now and meet up around 4-4:30 PM. We each went home, and my mom told me that Fahim's mom would take and bring me to Juan's home. Before leaving, I changed into the clothes that I wore the other day and left my home, and we drove to Juan's' house. Keith was already at Juan's house, as he rode his bike, and so he had to leave his home a little earlier. We entered Juan's house to get anything extra, he offered us water, and I refused.  On Sunday, December 5th, we began filming our movie blog. All group members were present and we had decided between the group-mates that we would meet at Keith Roger's house. I was first to arrive and I went inside to greet his parents and play with his dog. Shortly after, both other members arrived and we got straight to work. Keith's dad had brought us drinks from inside, which was a nice courtesy. We sort of appointed my self as the director, as I chose the song and had the primary idea for what we wanted to do and how we wanted to film certain scenes. Keith had most of the props already, and costume was the clothes that we were currently wearing. Before we started filming we automatically decided that we would not finish the whole music video in one day. We decided that we would finish the rest of the movie at Juan's house as he had a nice complex with a huge field in the background. We began rehearsing some of the scenes, and some of the opening clips were pretty simp
