Filming Blog : Juan's House

On Tuesday, December 8th, 2021, we filmed the last of our scenes, in continuation of our previous scenes captured on Sunday, December 5th. On Tuesday, normally we all have environmental club and decided that we would car-pool to Juan's house together. After school we found out that environmental club had been canceled and this was immediately a problem as now the parent that was supposed to pick us up would not have been there for an hour. We decided that instead of car-pooling we would have to go home for now and meet up around 4-4:30 PM. We each went home, and my mom told me that Fahim's mom would take and bring me to Juan's home. Before leaving, I changed into the clothes that I wore the other day and left my home, and we drove to Juan's' house. Keith was already at Juan's house, as he rode his bike, and so he had to leave his home a little earlier. We entered Juan's house to get anything extra, he offered us water, and I refused. We started walking to the field near Juan's house, and Juan told us he hasn't really been in the area in about one year so we didn't know what to expect. We got there and realized that there was construction going on around the entrance, and were left with a predicament. We got towards the fence, and decided that we would just film and leave, so we hopped over the fence real quick, and got straight to work. Keith threw his bike over the fence, and left it on the grass. There was no on the field, which was perfect, and would give us no interruptions. We already knew exactly what we wanted to do, so filming came easy to us. We added a cool transition idea that we had filmed from the earlier day, and finished the transition today. We used Keith's phone for all the scenes as his phone had the best quality for recording. Most scenes filmed today took 1-2 retakes and it was honestly a really fast process, maybe under 1 hour in total and we were back at Juan's house. Keith had left on his bike as he had no one to wait on. We walked into Juan's house and discussed a little bit about the project, and I told them about potential edits I would make for the project. All in all, today was a really easy & swift day, and was stress-free. Fahim's mom came and took us home, and this concludes our filming process.
