Meet the Group Blog

 This blog is to give you an overview of my group; who they are, how I met them, etc. For this music video, I am working with one person from the previous group and one new person from a different period. My other two members from the last group decided to either go solo or join a new group, which is respectable. Firstly, Juan Baca has re-joined which was a decision made in an instant when we found out this project would also be group based. We both agreed we should at LEAST get one more member. Frankly, no one in our classroom was willing, and most were already in a group, or looking to join one with their close friends, unfortunate, but reasonable. Because of these reasons, we decided to look at other options. I had an idea to just take a couple friends from other periods and Juan agreed on that idea. We picked 2 students, Fahim Alam from second period and Keith Rogers from eighth period. Fahim had no issue with the matter and agreed to work with us, on the other hand Keith let us know that he was already working with one person, and thought it disrespectful to ditch his already chosen member, and did not want him to feel left out. Following this, us 3 decided we should just go with 3 members and that would be okay, and all members agreed and had no problems. Juan Baca is no stranger, and I have worked with him many, many times, in other classes. Juan has always been dependable and someone that gets his work done, and his responsibilities straight. He comes from a good family, and his parents care about his grades, thus his work is done and grades straight. Not only did I work with him on the first group assignment, he was apart of my commercial and that was a success. I trust Juan and he trusts me. Next, Fahim Alam is a new name to my blog but not a new name nor new face in my life. I have known Fahim since the hospital and he always be on of the closest people in my life, a friend, and a brother in one. Fahim and I have had our ups and downs, but with it all in the past, we are good friends right now, and discuss many things that go on in our life. Fahim, like Juan, also comes from a great family, who makes sure his work is done and he has great work ethic. Although, we haven't discussed the specifics of this project we have an idea of where we want to film and some basic ideas of song we can do. Its a project I look forward to and believe will be much fun.

Final Edit Markups

 Today I finished editing my video and produced the final product. The whole process took me about and hour, close to an hour and a half. Honestly, editing comes really easy to me, and its like my creative mind is always on 4 cylinders. Once we filmed on Tuesday, I came home with about 10 more clips, to add to my original amount. Since we had about 45-50 seconds on hand, there would not be much more editing for me to do. One idea we had in mind was to have Juan and Keith do a flip. The flip would transition between each other, and both landings would show in the span of 6-7 seconds. This was sort of difficult as I had to cut in between both clips, and keep adding it back to readjust and make sure the exact frame matched up to make it look at smooth as possible. My Commercial

 This was my first **big** project in this class, and I REALLY enjoyed it. I have never made anything like this in my life and I was able to have alot of fun with it. I was always told this class wasn’t the hardest and a fun class for the most part, and I can agree. There are things we definitely could have improved on, but I believe within the given time span we did a great job. This was a great start for a great year of awesome things to come to fruition. I have heard about a music video and it sounds like a lot of fun. I have ideas planned already, that I can do for my next project.   Slide 1: In this slide we are going to shoot our introduction where we show the actor opening his phone and going to play a song on his AirPods Pro. He is going to pull out his phone, unlock it, and then proceed to go to a music app to begin to play a song. The type of shot in this slide is going to be a POV shot. This is to express to the viewer the same thing the actor is seeing. Slide 2: During this slide, the main actor is beginning to walk straight forward showing off the AirPods Pro in his ears. This is to show how the AirPods are comfortable to wear and stay in your ears. The type of shot that is going to be during this scene is going to be a medium shot to show off the actor walking.
