Our Pitch

 Pitch 1:

Man wakes up to the end of the world.

This would be a good movie because I have watched The Walking Dead, and our team members have a good idea on what we could make for this short film. I have ideas for places to shoot and what not. Some other things to consider, is whether or not we will have to pay for props. We could just act things out or to entice it, we could pay for some props to make it look better. This should not be a big problem though, its just a matter of conversing with our team members. We think that this is a unique idea, as most people might go with the traditional kidnapping or stalking. Some problems we might have is people in the area, or if there are restrictions to the area.

Pitch 2: 

Friends laundering money for the cartel.

This was our second idea, but the problem with it is we aren't sure how exactly we would go about the way of presenting a cartel and people laundering money. It sounds easy, and the idea was based of the show Ozark, which took a while in the show to develop the idea. The pros as stated, would be is that it would be easy to do, but quality is more important then quantity. I am also not sure how we would convey the idea across to the reader. Another easy thing would be acquiring fake currency, and making it like an actual short-film. Also, it would be easier to incorporate everyone in this project, as its not focused on one person. 

WHICH ONE DID WE CHOOSE

After some consideration, we decided the first pitch would be alot better, because even though it may be more difficult it would prove better in the long run, and would be something we could look back to in the future. We decided it would be fun to see how we could develop this idea and what we could do with the knowledge of a hit show, that of, The Walking Dead. Most of us are also more experienced with this idea.

Final Edit Markups

 Today I finished editing my video and produced the final product. The whole process took me about and hour, close to an hour and a half. Honestly, editing comes really easy to me, and its like my creative mind is always on 4 cylinders. Once we filmed on Tuesday, I came home with about 10 more clips, to add to my original amount. Since we had about 45-50 seconds on hand, there would not be much more editing for me to do. One idea we had in mind was to have Juan and Keith do a flip. The flip would transition between each other, and both landings would show in the span of 6-7 seconds. This was sort of difficult as I had to cut in between both clips, and keep adding it back to readjust and make sure the exact frame matched up to make it look at smooth as possible. Once I added these couple of seconds, I moved on to the next clip. The next clip was me and Fahim embracing one another, then slowly falling apart. My Commercial

 This was my first **big** project in this class, and I REALLY enjoyed it. I have never made anything like this in my life and I was able to have alot of fun with it. I was always told this class wasn’t the hardest and a fun class for the most part, and I can agree. There are things we definitely could have improved on, but I believe within the given time span we did a great job. This was a great start for a great year of awesome things to come to fruition. I have heard about a music video and it sounds like a lot of fun. I have ideas planned already, that I can do for my next project.   Slide 1: In this slide we are going to shoot our introduction where we show the actor opening his phone and going to play a song on his AirPods Pro. He is going to pull out his phone, unlock it, and then proceed to go to a music app to begin to play a song. The type of shot in this slide is going to be a POV shot. This is to express to the viewer the same thing the actor is seeing. Slide 2: During this slide, the main actor is beginning to walk straight forward showing off the AirPods Pro in his ears. This is to show how the AirPods are comfortable to wear and stay in your ears. The type of shot that is going to be during this scene is going to be a medium shot to show off the actor walking.
