Film Review

In AICE Media Studies, I showed one of my friends my video. He went over it a couple of times to give his feedback. He stated that what we have so far is satisfactory. What we were missing, however, was the film's soundtrack. He explained that when we introduce the music, it will add to the sense of realism and the thriller theme. He enjoys how the film is similar to other post-apocalyptic films and has a thriller feel to it. He claims that one scene, in which the main character is attacked by a zombie from around the corner, is a little messy. He offered some suggestions for how we could improve this scene, such as having multiple camera angles of the attack and editing them together to capture the scene more smoothly. This could be a second camera on the opposite side of the action, allowing for multiple perspectives. Having multiple perspectives can make the viewer feel more in tune with the movie, as they are the one's getting attacked. The more in tune the movie felt, the better the movie would be. Aside from that, he said that music would help tie everything together and that it looked good to him.
