Filming Blog

 Today is April 7th, 2022. Today we finished our filming, and all members showed up. We even had Juan's brother come over to film. Since today would be the last day of filming, as the director, I had to brainstorm how we would end the short-movie, without making it too cliche but also leave the viewers wondering what would happen next. I have to mention, while filming the police department were called on us, which was very surprising. The police was called, because one of our scenes which was filmed by the street, on the grass, included one of our cast members Alejandro, pretending to beat up the zombie, Juan. Alejandro was also dressed up in all black, so I can understand why the cops were brought on board. The cops asked us what we were doing, and why we were fighting, but we explained we were just filming a project for our school. Upon hearing this, the cops apologized for wasting our time, and just notified us they just had to respond as the call came in. Anyways, the cops left, and we continued filming. Keith told us that he would have to leave soon for swimming practice, which wasn't a problem. We had Juan's brother to fill in for him. After Keith left, we filmed our last 2 scenes, which took about two takes each. I gave them some snacks and food, and they all left shortly after.
